The Adrian Area Historical Society meets first Saturday of the following months; February, April, June, August, October, December at 9:30 am at the Adrian Public Library.

In case you don’t know, the Society and Western Missouri Antique Tractor and Mach Assoc are joined at the hip.

We operate the museum during the Spring, summer and fall months keeping it open for visitors until the end of August. We are a very important part of what goes on at the Village. We are active in digging out all the history of our community and keeping great archives on file.

We also have the Adrian Journal and Archie newspapers dating back around 100 years and are in the process now of cataloging and digitizing the newspapers. The Archie Paper is completed. We are seeking volunteers to assist with the Adrian Journal. Training will be provided.

We are always looking to add members to the rolls. Members can be very active or simply come to the meetings and learn some of our history. Many meetings we enjoy a guest speaker who brings us information about a local place of interest.

Dues are $10.00 per year and there are always wonderful treats and coffee at every meeting. Meetings usually last an hour, and we would love to have folks come and check it out.
